Boys and Girls in Junior Infants have gone DATA MAD! They made Weather Block Diagrams to track the most common type of weather during the month of February!
They also worked sooooo hard to find out the most common coloured bear in the bear box! They lined the bears up in 10’s and counted using skip counting! π The most common coloured bear was RED! There are 68 red bears in the bear box.
They did the same with different coloured links! 2 of the children counted 200 red links using skip counting in 10’s!!!
Red seems to be the most popular colour in Junior Infants!
Boys and girls in Junior Infants were helping Miss Crosse decide what colour to paint her house! They came up with so many lovely colours she couldn’t decide. Β The boys and girls thought of a great plan and made a bar chart to find out the most popular colour in Junior Infants!
Miss Crosse can’t wait to paint her house RED! π
Junior infants have been taking part in so many fun activities for Numeracy Week. They did a Maths Trail around the school where they answered questions that were stuck up on the walls and parents came in and played maths games with boys and girls up in the library! Big thanks to Emma and all the parents who took part. They had great fun!
