Multicultural Week!

Well done to all the teachers and children who did so much work to celebrate Multicultural Week. Every class had a magnificent display in the hall, along with each class performing a song/poem/dance from the country they studied. 6th class even counted from one to ten in ARABIC! So well done to all! Of course, weeks like this needs lots of preparation and to get us started, Aaron, Cian, Shauna, and Kisha helped with the cooking for our tasting day. We cooked dishes from South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Nepal, Romania, Poland, Ireland and Australia!

We all had great fun sampling the various dishes. Some dishes were quite unusual but it was great to see people being adventurous and tasting them regardless!

The displays in the hall were terrific! We were even able to sample more food here! There were activities and puzzles also. It was great to see parents pop in and look at all our work. Well done to all who were manning their stations and had super answers for all the questions we had about their country!
