Our Trip to Botanic Gardens

Last Thursday First Class went on a great trip.  We went to the Botanic Gardens in Glasnevin.  We walked up to O’Connell Street and got the bus from there.  It was a good journey and no-one got sick on the bus!  Phew!!

When we got to the Botanic Gardens we saw lots of things.  We saw squirrels, pumpkins, statues, big trees and even a funny eyeball display!   We saw giant leaves, pretend parrots, and a beautiful rose garden.  We saw girls drawing pictures of the flowers, an apple tree, little cute ducks and then we even saw Ms Bailey there with her other school. We saw a scarecrow, we crossed bridges and we even had our yard there.  We saw lily pads and a wishing well too.

Thanks to Betty we had a picnic there as well!

We had a really great day and hope we go on lots more trips in First Class.
