Rutland N.S has received an award for being a Changemaker school and is now part of the Changemaker Schools Network!

A Changemaker is someone with the skills and confidence to lead change in their home, school and community.


The 4 pillars of a Changemaker school are empathy, leadership, creativity and teamwork.
The DCU Changemaker Schools Network is a social innovation initiative to help primary school teachers and students across Ireland to put in place and lead programmes of change in their respective schools and wider communities to address societal challenges. Well done to all staff and students!
