Teacher Abbie and Sabrina working together

On Thursdays, our class give our hard working teachers Ms Harte Hayes and Ms McAndrew a break and we become the teachers!!!

During the week we highlight questions we can’t quite work out in mental maths and on Thursdays we break up into small groups and teach each other!

“Mateusz and Anand explained the rolling the dice question differently and helped me to understand it. Its still a bit confusing but they are going to check in with me during the week and so we all have it mastered for next week!” -Lexi

“I helped Jadine to master the perimeter question, we have a saying perimeter is all the way around the pitch, and now she knows it too, we all enjoy helping each other” -Brooke

“Its fun to help others, at first it was hard to explain how I understand how to do it, but with a bit of practice it became easier, and now I really enjoy it!” Abbie

“I like explaining things, and helping others, and working with my friends. I always feel great when I help others to understand” -Temuulen

“Is maths over? No way. Wait, can I have 1 more minute, I almost have it! Yes I got it!!” -Brooklyn
