Summer Reading Buzz In Dublin City Public Libraries

First Communion

Second Class recently received the Sacrament of First Confession.  Ms. Lawlor and all the boys and girls put a huge amount of work into preparing for this special day.  All the children read, sang and answered out all their prayers.  It was great to see so many parents attend the ceremony as well.  We are now looking forward to a special day on May the 18th when second class will receive The Sacrament of First Holy Communion.

Newstalk Toyshow

Recently some of our pupils got a chance to review some toys for the Newstalk morning radio show.  Kome, Ross, Aaron, Lee, Lennon, Saad, Nathan and Grace all had lots of fun playing with lots of different toys including a Nerf Gun, Elimination Chamber, Moshi Monsters, Moshi Home, Leap Pad, the Napi Tablet, Glen Dragons set, Spiderman and Lego Superheroes. The children spoke about the advantages and disadvantages of all the toys. We are now raffling the toys to raise much needed funds for our school.  You can listen to the show on www.newstalk.ie –  podcast – Under the cover dated December 8th
