Engineers week

Volunteers from ESB take part in the inaugural ‘ESB Engineering Squad’. The initiative, which is part of Engineers Week 2014, aims to promote engineering as a career choice by showcasing personal experiences of engineering and highlighting the critical role of engineering in society to school children across Ireland. Niall from ESB kindly came in to talk with us as part of engineers week. He shared interesting facts about his job and we were very jealous to hear that he gets to travel a lot with his job- to Africa and the Middle East! It was a very informative talk. Well done to everyone who asked questions and listened so well.

Borrowing books from our library

We are so lucky to have a fully stocked library in our school. We borrow books every Tuesday morning. Some of us are even trained up as librarians and we are experts at scanning back/scanning out books to each other!!
