For book week third class read lots of books for Senior Infants. The children worked SO well together and we all really enjoyed it! We might do this paired reading a few more times before the end of the year as it went so well. Such great readers and really good listeners! Well done everyone!
Well done to 3rd class who are continuing to borrow from the library each Tuesday morning. We now even have some of the class trained up as library scanners so they take turns doing that job each week. They are experts at this stage!
Well done also to Calvin who has taken a great interest in reading! Every time Ms. Heverin looks over he has his head in a book! Especially the Captain Underpants series of books. Craig brought in a set from home to supplement what we already have in our library collection. They’ll keep us going for a while!
